Shankar Appalam was established in 1975 by our  owner and mentor Mr.  Bhaskar K S. Under his able leadership, we have gained a prominent position in the industry.  His broad industry acquaintance has helped us to understand the requirements of customers and provide the solution in the most reasonable manner within limited time frame.

Appalam or Papad is one of the famous recipes in India and it varies from region to region and from family to family.   They are typically made from flour or paste derived from  black gram (urad flour), rice, or potato.
